Welcome to the Kid’s Corner, a joyful, creative, and safe space designed especially for children during the Kwanzaa Celebration in Cahuita! Each day of Kwanzaa comes alive through hands-on activities, storytelling, games, art, music, and cultural learning tailored for youth.
Our goal is to nurture identity, confidence, creativity, community values, and cultural pride — all while having FUN. Children will connect with caring volunteers, learn through play, and participate in age-appropriate activities inspired by the Seven Principles (Nguzo Saba).
Kid’s Corner is open to toddlers, children, and young teens, with activities divided by age group when needed. Parents are welcomed to participate, observe, or enjoy the main events knowing that their children are safely engaged in meaningful experiences.
